Gee, what do i even post here anymore.

Something to tide time over with

Remote.

So.I've been very remote on the net as of late.
The truth is,I've been trying to work on things.Like right now,I'm trying to learn me some vector programs!As in software.Which is funny 'cause well....I need to learn how to use the program before anything okay enough.But that's really the case of everything.Not gain,no pain!Right?But I still miss traditional media a lot.Sure I've been sketching a lot too,but that really doesn't amount to anything if I'm occupied with other things.
Then I've been trying to animate some.One reason I want to learn how to make vector stuff is that I want to make animations with vectors later on.Buuut,that's still in the long, long run of things.So far I have a few hand drawn ball bounces and that's pretty much it. One thing I am trying right now, is making some frame by frame ball-bounces in openCanvas (a program I am so much more used and one that doesn't kill my computer upon saving a file) and then putting them together in Monkeyjam.I have plans for the animatic to end up not being just a bouncing ball,but I want to correct the bouncing itself before I move on to that.I haven't really the slightest idea of timing,so with this, I'm going to work on that :)
But even when the endresult is just a really amateurish something,just animating anything really is fun.

Okay,so it's really just the fault of my own inexperience an' all that,but seriously.This thing has the learning curve of a skyscraper.Or hey,maybe try some other vector animating software before whining about anything.
 But here's something I made that, compared to all the other stuff, came out kind of okay.

Also,trying to make some journal-comics soon,but failing hard as I postpone everything.
Also,would want to out up a real site on day.

But you know.Baby steps.

Random doodles

Thought I should post something since I haven't posted anywhere really, in what feels like an eternity.

Juniper Lee!Yeah,haven't drawn this character in a while, and this is actually just a marker doodle on the back of an old sketchpad(since you know,those cardboard backs are really nice to draw on randomly),also,watercolours slapped on!I think the hair came out awesome.

Oh yeah,saw Toy Story 3 some time ago.After seeing it,I felt like expressing my feelings more accurately,instead of just exclaiming 'epic squeee~' all over the internet.

Toy Story 3 made me giggle :3

Horrible person (Night and mid-night drawins)

This first one isn't a yesterday night drawing tho,it's a bit earlier ;) as in,few days earlier.

Textures really are fun to experiment with :D It took me a long time, but I finally got around to experimenting with photoshop brushes.The results are funnnn~ I mean they look fun.Were fun to draw.

I made this one brush that looks a lot like pencil on paper.I guess I'm just sorta old-skool like that :P

And it's a really nice brush to sketch with too!

This one reminds me of those pastel drawings a lot.Though the canvas ain't half as awesome as real paper,the lines look really nice ;)

School has officially ended as of yesterday!Whooooot
I will probably be looking for a new school(university) to start out in, before this month ends.Although, I would rather not,getting this school stuff done in the early years of my life will probably be for the better in the long run, so yeah.Drawing post-pone! D:

In the meantime though,here's a little something I drew yesterday:

I kinda wanted to test out some textures I had gotten from bittbox.com ,but then it just evolved from that into this.Not sure where this doodle is going but it was sort of a good practice.Pink is sort of hard to paint without looking wrong.

Yes,that's a dragon.And yes,I am pretty horrible at drawing dragons.Didn't watch enough dragon-films in my childhood )':

Sing with me

Just woke up from The Songfestival here at Tallinn.

And I gotta say,it's nice to be back to all the singing(throat-scratching as always :)).And of course the masses of people,young singers who are tired and sleepy and the weather changing every 2 hours.It's fun.
Yesterday was rehearsal day.The stage was filled to the brim with singers from young to old.Meaning there are probably even more people this year than the last time :D
